Managers use the Transfer Action Request form to initiate Supervisor Changes in Infor. As a supervisor, you have access to update the reporting structure for your indirect and direct reports through Supervisor Self Service. This article explains how to change a supervisor for a staff member within your accounting unit.

Change a Supervisor
*** Note: Be sure to review the Payroll Calendar for a list of begin and end pay period dates. Only future period changes will be accepted and approved.
1. Click the magnifier icon in the Direct Manager* field.
2. Click on the line item that contains the new supervisor's name.
3. The Direct Manager* field is populated with the new position manager code, the position description, and the manager name.
NOTE: You may follow the same guidelines in steps 9 - 10 to select a Dotted-Line Manager where applicable.
4. Enter any exceptions pertaining to this transfer action request in the comments field. Example: If you were unable to locate the supervisor's name in the search list, you would enter this information in the comments field.
