As a supervisor, you have the authority to view work assignments of direct, dotted line, or temporary staff members within your accounting unit. Moreover, you can submit changes to FLSA, Pay Schedule, FTE, and Supervisor that will update the staff member's work assignment profile. This guide will provide you with a step-by-step process to access and modify the FTE schedule for a staff member in your accounting unit. Follow the instructions below to update the FTE schedule in a work assignment profile.

Navigation: Blue River >> Infor My Service Center >> Staff Self Service >> Supervisor Self Service >> My Staff >> Staff Member Profile >> Work Assignments
From the Work Assignments Tab:
1. Click the line item that you want to update.
*** Note: A staff member can have more than one assignment.
2. Click the Transfer drop down arrow on the blue bar of the staff member's work assignment profile.
3. Click the Effective Date for this change. Earl Staff is a Staff Member within your accounting unit whose FTE is changing from 1. to 0.5 on the beginning date of the next pay period.
*** Note: Be sure to review the Payroll Calendar for a list of begin and end pay period dates. Only future period changes will be accepted and approved.
4. Click the magnifier icon in the Action Reason* field to view a list of action reasons.
5. Enter WKA- in the Action Reason search field.
*** Note: If the Action Reason, Description and Subject search fields are not visible, click the Funnel Icon to display the search option.
6. Click the "WKA-FTESCH" line item to select the Work Assignment FTE Schedule Action Reason.
7. Click the right scroll bar to move your mouse down to the Work Type field.
3. Click the magnifier icon in the Work Type field.
*** Note: Earl Staff's FTE is changing from 1. to 0.5. An FTE of 0.5 is equivalent to a Partial Worktype in the Chart of Valid Values.
9. Click on the "Partial" line item to select the new work type.
10. Click the scroll bar and move your mouse downward until you reach the compensation section.
11. Earl Staff's FTE is changing from 1.000000 to 0.5. Enter 0.5 in the Full Time Equivalent field.
*** Note: The Guest Service Representative position is non-exempt and is eligible for Overtime Pay. If Earl's position were Exempt from Overtime, you would click Yes for this field.
In this case, the value in the Exempt from Overtime field is correct and should not be changed.
12. Scroll down to the Comment field. Enter the reason for the update and any other relevant information in the Comment field.
13. The information entered in the Comments field can be helpful to HR Staff when reviewing request to update Work Assignments.
If you have a document that you like to attached the request, click on the folder icon in the Attach Supporting Document field to attach a document.
Review the information on the form for accuracy. Click the Submit button to submit your change for review and approval.
