HR - How to Print a Job Description from a Profile in Self Service

You can print copies of Job Descriptions directly from the Resource Page in Self Service.  To print a job description, please follow the steps outlined in this article.

Navigation:   Infor  >>  Infor Global GHR  >>  Generalist  >>   Resource Search



From the Generalist Menu:

1. Select "Resource Search". 


2. Enter then "Employment ID, Preferred Last Name, or Preferred First Name" to search for the resource record. 

3. Select "Search".


4. Double-click the "Row in the Grid" to open the resource profile.


5.  Select "Documents" on the profile menu.  


In the top right corner of the Profile Screen:  

6. Click the "Ellipsis (Three Dot) Menu" to display additional options.

7. Select "Create Document". 


8. Choose the "POSITIONDESCRIPTION" Document Template.

9. Select "Submit".


10.  Click the "POSITIONDESCRIPTION.rtf" document to open it.


11. The document will download to your PC in the top right corner of your browser.



12.  Click the "POSTIONDESCRIPTION" document to open it.


13. The document opens in Microsoft Word.

14. Print the document from the "File ---> Print" menu in Microsoft Word.
