Prior To Arrival:

  • Submit an online security access form, including a photo for your badge.
    • Online from any non-COA computer https://www.jotform.com/coa-hris/security
    • In order for you to receive your Security Badge on arrival, you will need to complete the Security Badge Form the week before your start date.
    • Please include a clear photo upload of your face only in the form.
    • This security form is required for all new arrivals, regardless of parking privileges.

  • Register for Okta Single Sign On and change your password.
    • Online from any non-COA computer https://childrensal.okta.com
      • Your CoA coordinator will notify you of your CHS network account number (example CHS999999).
      • Log in here first to set your network password.  Not all systems use the same password. 


COA Portal Sign On Screen 

   

  • Resetting your default password.
    • Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and are case sensitive.
    • Passwords must contain alpha characters, numbers, and at least one (1) special character.  i.e; ~!@#$%^&* (No spaces allowed.)
    • Passwords may not include part of the user's name or username.

  

  • COA Portal Menu Screen.  Once signed on to the portal, you will be directed to a screen with additional menu options.  The menu options will vary based on security access but will include
    • Covid 19 Vaccine Survey
    • iConnect
    • Citrix Applications
    • A web-based instance of your Virtual Desktop
    • Various websites, including the COA Blue River, Mimecast email archive, COA Webmail, Infor, and SharePoint

  

  • Children's Webmail (only if a @childresal.org email address was assigned for you).

  • Complete all assigned courses and curriculums in Children's University.

  • Go to security to pick up your badge and verify where you should be parking.
    • The Security Office is located at the 16th Street entrance to the 5th Avenue parking deck, or ground floor from Park Place North, or South Corridor Midpoint exit door.
    • If there is any problem with your badge name or job title, please email [email protected].

  • Log into Lucidoc and acknowledge all assigned policies and procedures.
    • If you receive a notice email, please login, review and acknowledge our official policies and procedures at https://www.lucidoc.com/cgi/home.pl.
    • You will use your CHS network account number (example CHS999999) as your username.  Please use Forgot your password? to reset your password.
    • Upon getting logged in, please click on "My acknowledgments" to review and acknowledge policies which have been assigned to you.

  • Explore the Blue River, which is our staff intranet.
    • Online from any computer at https://portal.chsys.org/ then Blue River.
      • You will login with your CHS network account credentials setup in Okta.

  

  • Log into INFOR self-service to view  your user profile.
    • From the portal above choose Infor or from the Blue River choose My Service Center. 
    • To log in, click on "Children's of Alabama" and log in with your network ID and password.
    • The Self-Service menu will open, which leads to all staffing related systems.
    • You can update your contact information if needed.
