WFM - EIB and FML Time Tracking

Please note: Only book time to FMLA/FML time in WFM My Time and Schedule for unpaid time not covered by EIB or PTO.  This code is used only for completely unpaid time after all paid time is exhausted. Use the appropriate paid time instead of hours should be paid.

  • If approved by the Hartford, apply EIB for qualified medical leave. 
  • If EIB is exhausted and the employee is still on approved medical leave, apply PTO for paid hours using the reason FMLA.
  • Only use the FML/FMLA book off type if all paid leave is exhausted or the employee requests to spread out limited paid hours to cover benefit deductions. 
    • Intermittent Leave: After the initial Hartford determination is sent to WFM, we do not need the intermittent day by day use approval documents. Only send us Hartford disapprovals for intermittent days if they are for a prior period. Otherwise you can manage this time proactively on the schedule.
