WFM - How to Cancel Time Off Request

WFM is a time management application used for scheduling & timekeeping, helping ensure employees receive timely and accurate pay for hours worked.  WFM is also used to submit time off requests for approval.  If you need to submit or cancel a time off request in WFM, you can do so within the current pay period. the open pay period ends at noon on the Monday of the pay period close.  Be sure to check the pay period calendar for pay period close dates. This article will walk you through steps required to cancel a time off request in WFM.

From Staff Self Service:

1. Select "My WFM Time & Schedule


  

2. Select "Request Time Off".



All time off requests (submitted and unsubmitted) in WFM are displayed on the Request Time Off Calendar.  


The legend section of the Request Time Off Calendar explains the meaning of the icons displayed for time off entered in WFM.


The icons represent the status of your requests.   For example, the light blue icon indicates that the time off request for PTO on the 25th and the request for time off on the 26th for Jury Duty have been submitted and are pending approval.

The orange icons for the 27th and the 28th indicate that the time off requests have been entered in WFM but have not been submitted for approval.




3. If the Workforce Management screen displays, Select the "Hamburger Menu" to display the WFM Self Service Portal options.   





4. If the Request Time Off Calendar displays, skip step 5 and proceed to step 6.




  

5. Select "Request Time Off".



All time off requests (submitted and unsubmitted) in WFM are displayed on the Request Time Off Calendar.


6. Select the gray information icon to view the status legend for the time off request.  





7. This is the Status Legend for time off requests. The icons in the legend help define the status of time off requests entered in WFM.




8. Each icon on the Request for Time Off calendar represents the Type and States of your submitted and unsubmitted time off request.  

For example, the light blue icon indicates that the time off request for PTO on the 25th and the request for time off for Jury Duty on the 26th have been submitted and are currently pending approval.

The orange icons for the 27th for Bereavement and the 28th for PTO indicate that the time off requests have been entered in WFM but have not yet been submitted for approval.







9. Select the date you want to cancel on the Request Time Off calendar.


  

10. Select the "check box" beside the request(s) that you want to cancel.

11. Select  "Cancel Time Off".


  

12. Select "Yes" to confirm that you want to cancel the time off request.


  

13.  Select the "Review Time Off  Arrow" to return to the Request Time Off calendar. 




14. The time off request is removed from the Request Time Off calendar and the cancel notification is sent to the approver for approval.






15. You will receive an email notification in your inbox when your cancellation request(s) are approved

If you need to submit or cancel a time off request in WFM, you can do so within the current pay period.  The open pay period ends at noon on the Monday of the pay period close.  For example, if the pay period begins on 6/5 and closes on 6/18, you can submit, or cancel. approve, or reject time off request until noon on Monday, 6/19.  You can check the pay period calendar for pay period close dates.
